The Radio Museum's workroom may only be used by members for museum related activities during the Radio Museum opening
hours, Wednesdays 10 am-3 pm.
Due to lack of space, the conference table in the work room has been used as a work table for museum related activities.
It can of course be difficult to see from the Radio Museum's purpose statement what museum related activities members can
undertake. Here are some examples:
- Receive visitors for a tour of the Radio Museum.
- Receive radio equipment for repair, if deemed possible.
- Receive radio equipment for donation if it is deemed useful for
the museum's collection.
- Restoration of museum objects.
- Maintenance of information signs at museum objects.
- Repair of radio equipment that has been submitted for repair.
- Maintenance of workplaces and measuring equipment.
- Maintaining inventory for components.
- Searching for diagrams in the index or on the internet.
- Making diagrams that are poster printed on the printer.
- During group tours, use of TV monitor to display museum related
topics, e.g. showing the film about the construction of the Crafts
School in 1939.
- Small lectures on museum related topics.
- Cleaning of premises.
